Hello, it’s Faith and I feel foreign here. Though it’s been a crazy past few months (jr yr isn’t a myth) it’s been a crazier year, if that’s possible.
2017 was the year I committed to this blog and made it public to everyone in my life and in the world. Posting regularly hasn’t been my thang and still trying to figure out lots of new ideas and hopes for what I want this blog to be.
2017 was also the year I turned 16 and became a legal member of the streets, hahaha. No accidents or tickets, but I’m also posting this a day before the year ends so fingers crossed.
2017 was the year I traveled to my favorite city in the entire world for the first time. NYC is the absolutely the love of my life and continues to be the hardest long term relationship to continue. Though, I’ve figured out some ways around the distance by constantly binging Sex and The City, also made a fan by me in 2017.
2017 I got to dance a whole lot and love a whole lot on my team. They continue to inspire me and make me wonder how lucky I am to be surrounded by the most genuine, kind, and talented gals in the whole world. This gal gang forever has my heart.
2017 I traveled to Colorado twice for a huge part of my heart and soul, Young Life. Being able to see young life from behind the scenes has been so amazing and the most rewarding thing for me and my walk with Christ. Young Life camp this summer was one of the most rewarding weeks of my life and still planning on how I can re live that daily. This winter I got to spend a week of skiing, singing, and praising the Lord at Frontier Ranch with my best friends. I fell in love with skiing and the Lord all over again.
2017 was the year my favorite song came out and I got to hear it live. (Super Far X LANY) quite a jam btw. 2017 was such the year for music, 18 playlists, multiple uncovered cd’s, and 6 concerts later and I still can’t get enough.
2017 was the year me and my bestfriend created our jewelry company, bfbeads. What a crazy rollercoaster it has been. I can’t express enough the amount of stress and craziness it adds to my life but the amount of joy, happiness, and connections it brings will forever be worth it. Planning on a post coming up dedicated to bfbeads but until then, go check us out on insta @bfbeads !!
After a year of crazy schedules, sun roof open, friend filled drives, 1 smashed phone, lots of sonic and lots of shake shack, many late nights and early mornings, lots of hugs and even more laughs, 2017 was such a great and hard to beat year.
